Hello, I am the owner and proprietor of Lil' Bit Of Gatlinburg. I have certification by the East Tennessee Historical Society as one of the first families of Tennessee, being a direct descendant of John Logue Jr. who settled in Tennessee prior to statehood, June 1st, 1796. My great-grandmother was an artist, trained in Louisville Ky. Although most of her work is retained by multiple family members, one of her paintings is on the exhibit rotation at the Tennessee State Museum. I am a native Nashvillian and have recently retired from a career as a nurse and a health administrator.
Since early childhood, I have been making yearly visits to the Smoky Mountains and the Gatlinburg area with family and friends. The Smoky Mountains and East Tennessee have always made me feel at home. The mountains are my passion. I have so many wonderful memories of the area throughout my life. When the opportunity presented itself to purchase a residence and business in Gatlinburg I jumped at the chance.
My husband Flip and I now run the gallery full time. I am proud to be associated with our local artists Iva Prince and the potters at WildChild Clayworks, along with countless other artists and craftsman, whose works we offer. Please accept a personal welcome to Lil' Bit Of Gatlinburg, as well as the entire arts and crafts district.
